The Healthcare Campaign Survey Series

This research initiative was developed by Twin Point Insights. It is run in partnership with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.

With the generous support of our sponsors, we’ve been able to make the series completely free for survey participants.

Over 140 hospitals and health systems have taken at least one survey in our series, creating a powerful new data set for our field.

Campaigns have never been more important for our hospitals and health systems.

Although nearly half of the field is in campaign at any given time, there’s a painful lack of reliable industry data on these initiatives. 

Our philanthropy leaders urgently need campaign data to advocate for resources, calibrate realistic goals, fine-tune strategy, and manage the expectations of boards and executives.

Shorter surveys, faster report-outs

Five shorter surveys. Our advisory group advocated for a shorter monthly commitment rather than one comprehensive survey. We’ve broken down campaign-related topics into the five key areas listed below.

Rapid report-outs … About six weeks after each survey, we published an Executive Insight Report with some compelling early findings.

… and a big finish: The series will close with an in-depth flagship report of the major findings across all surveys as well as live webinars on using this rich data to improve performance.

The survey series builds on deep qualitative research conducted by Twin Point Insights and funded by Advisory Board. To date, Twin Point has interviewed leaders at over 100 top hospitals and health systems throughout the U.S. and Canada. We have shared early findings at AHP’s Campaign Excellence Summit, at AHP International (2024 and 2025), and at Convene Canada (2026).
